This week the Simon Says Stamp Wndesday challenge is a little bit complicated... well, not really, but I have feel that... maybe because an artistic block.

They challenge us to use a tartar paper or background, created by us or using a paper with this pattern. Also they invited us to use Lawn Fawn products.

That is the easy part, a lot of Lawn Fawn papers have tartar patterns, so it was easy to choose the papers. I have also really clear that i wanted to use a lot of his stamps, they are rally cute animals and I thing that they would eclipse the paper. I didn't want the paper as a simple layer.

In the first moment I thought about paying with paper squares, creating a composition similar to a chess board. But once I was working I didn't visualize the idea. And I discover myself into an artist block. But, I don't give up. I was some time looking the paper, changing the position and positioning the squares in all the possibles ways.

Playing with the paper I discover that it remains me to a picnic tablecloth, and I decided to use the idea. I've been seen the sketch at Pinterest lately, used at gifts envelopes whit an irregular flap at the top.

As I wan that the main protagonist was my paper, I only add two stamps : A sentiment for the "Love n breakfast" stamp set, and a coffee cup for the "Love you a latte" stamps, because my mornings begins only after mu first coffee.
The coffee tea is coloured with Tie die Distress ink and i use the same paper to create a little bit of paper-percing. At the cup sleeve I added a little bit of sparkle wit the Wink of Stella glitter marker.

After the block, I've created a card  that I'm very proud of. Also is a starter-frendly card because I've use a really basic materials.
